New York Firefighter, Jerry Coffin's Engine Company, located in Brooklyn just across the bridge from Manhattan, was one of the first responders after the September 11th attacks on the WTC.
By the end of the day, 343 fellow New York Firefighters, 5 alone from Jerry's
firehouse (Engine Company 279, Ladder 131) were lost....
Jerry worked for weeks at Ground Zero providing search and rescue
then later supporting the recovery effort.
Thanks Jerry, We're proud to know ya!
